Pastor Cindy, and Mitsubishi, a four year old rescued alley cat.
Mother was a "Princess", father unknown. TALES When Pastor Cindy, of the Church of the Nazarene, and her husband Jerry, were driving their rescued kitten home, they spotted a new, gray, Mitsubishi car. The cat and car were both gray, and low to the ground. Hence, the kitten's name. Mitsubishi is one of the world's most amazing cats! He is addicted to water and can't get enough of it! Mitsubishi thinks that bedtime, means 'play time at the bathroom sink,' as everyone tries to brush their teeth. He cannot wait, because he loves to play with the tap's running water. He also comically jumps up and hangs over the shower stall, batting at the water as it comes out the faucet. And after the shower is vacated, he stands mesmerized watching the water go down the drain. Mitsubishi loves to 'help' Pastor Cindy, he believes that watering the flowers was invented for him! He can hardly wait for her to finish watering, so he can chase the water from the hose, and then he waits for his nice cool shower. With a satisfied shake, he then meticulously grooms himself. It is obvious, he is the "coolest" cat in town! Because Mitsubishi loves water so much, and his neighbor, Mary Ellen "Angel Scribe's" cats are famous for swimming, it seemed natural to give Mitsubishi "kitty paddling" lessons. His first and last lesson, lasted 19 seconds, just long enough for him to get wet, swim across and out of the pool, at a record breaking speed, turn, and give Cindy a censored look before he ran home! He has not been back in the pool, or Mary Ellen's yard, since! TIPS Mitsubishi was lucky to find a good home, but not all cats are. For personal reasons, Mitsubishi advocates neutering and spaying, because he worries about his brother and sisters, who ended up homeless, and in a shelter. So, he was glad to have the veterinarian's intervention to prevent him from adding to the over population of pets. Pastor Cindy says, "The biggest reward of adopting a rescued kitty, is the hours of companionship, and priceless entertainment it brings into your home. Mitsubishi keeps us laughing, and his fun spirit is definitely a blessing." Pet Adoption info: www.PetFinder.org
