Dearest Readers,
When your dream manifests it may blow ½ the feathers out of your wings with the rush of energy!
For six years, I went into the Cottage Grove Sentinel's newspaper office asking to volunteer and learn about the business.
I would also inquire if they needed a miracle column and they
repetitively turned me away.
Recently, the newspaper's content was difficult to read so I contacted the publisher, who is out of the area.
My intention was to offer a few suggestions on how to gain new readers and advertisers by appealing to the readers. The goal was to keep the vital link of the newspaper alive in our small community. (9,000 residents)
The publisher loved my ideas, jumped on one of them and asked me to write a column. AND...it is not the one on miracles!
For over a decade I dreamed that a column would manifest, and it would be on miracles, and this new column is not it!
Oooops.
This is obviously God's wonderful sense of humor! My brain sputtered in protest!
But, as you know it all worked out purrfectly.
I love to inspire, photograph, pets, humor and to educate in gentle ways...and yes all these manifested in "Pet TIPS n TALES."
"Pet TIPS n TALES" includes a photo of a local resident and their much loved pet...hopefully both smiling.
The Tale of the pet is something funny and cute it does, and how it came to live with its guardian.
The Tips section consists of two sentences of information to educate readers on how to better take care of their pets.
The reason for the long delay in your Angel Scribe newsletters is... the editor of the SENTINEL suddenly left and the newspaper
needed writers on the spot. All of a sudden, I was accidentally involved!
To help them out, I created two feature articles and photographed six different pets around town and created extra "Pet TIPS n TALES." Time for a nap and readjust the remaining feathers in my wings!
Life is never dull! The SENTINEL is going to put a link to their website later this week www.CGSentinel.com so you can easily find and read "Pet TIPS n TALES."
Know that dreams come true. They are the direction of your life mission. It is as if you are born with an invisible ember of knowing in your soul that never dies.
The dream is your direction finder...it holds you to course as you plow through life trying to unearth the map you know is somewhere close, but just out of reach. Know. Know that your wisdom of your dream is not a frivolous thing you were gifted the destiny you chose prior to birth and you are following the leads to success.
It is not always an easy trip/journey. But think of what you have learned along the way to add to your wisdom when the dream manifests.
The dream is not your end goal either. It is just another stepping stone to momentarily rest on as you catch your breath before moving forward. You have much to do, much to contribute.

Finally a FAMOUS COLUMNIST!
Nothing is Impossible!
Dearest Readers,
Most people do not realize that everyday things happen that many think are impossible.
What in your life is holding you back from doing what others can't see you successfully doing?
Many people assumed that cats cannot swim! Many thought it would be impossible for me to dream about a newspaper column manifesting.
Hold onto your dreams. They belong to you and no one else!
May this newsletter cement your dream in your heart and allow you to walk steadily toward it.
My daughter, a life guard, swim instructor and EMT, decided to teach our five cats swimming.
 We walk our cats into the water..talking to them with love.
They were raised with kindness and trust us.
As you know not all cats will react this way in water!
You hold your cat, they begin to move their front feet in panic to swim to shore. You gently caress them and their fear leaves. (most of the time!)
They calm down, you can see it in their eyes.  They've learned how to move their front feet and feel
confident in the water. Ariel just released Sabrina.
You are seeing her first two seconds of swimming.
The cats glide smoothly forward. Stay close
to make sure their faces do not go underwater.
(The advantage of a pool is no waves and warm water.)  Nymbus enjoys his second swimming year.

It is beautiful to watch our cats gliding in water.
We catch and release the cats five times.
The fifth time they are fast and strong swimmers.
 Miss Wings has so many baths, that swimming did not fase her.
This is also her first few seconds of swimming!
(Notice the little wake in front of her as she kitty-paddles.)
The look of confidence in her eyes is amazing.
We let the cats climb out of the pool so they
feel a sense of accomplishment, and if they ever
fell in they know they will be OK...and so do we.
 We finish swim class by towel drying them
and then the hot summer sun and wind blow them dry.
